Kuta. Bali ( Picture Overload)

Happy Monday and Happy October! I honestly love that we are already in October. All that means to me, is one step closer to my favorite time of the year! ( Christmas, obviously). 😉

I wanted to share some of my honeymoon pictures from the first Island we were on in Kuta!  Kuta is south of the island in Bali and is one of the closest Islands from the airport.  Once we showed up to see our hotel, we were both overwhelmed with the beauty of this place. Both Bali and the Sheraton hotel!!!!

Shortly after getting to the hotel, we changed and headed  straight to the pool for a little refreasher and cocktail ( it was hot!) and off to the beach. If you can tell,  behind the pool was the beach! Being right across from the beach was hard to beat! It didn’t get much better then that!

Once on the beach, the locals came up offering everything and anything they had to sell! Right away, some lady started braiding my hair. I must say it felt so good to get the hair off of my neck! We spent the rest of the day surfing (I tried, hurt myself and decided to sit on the beach and watch Perry surf) and just relaxing!

The next morning, we woke and went straight for an $8 massage ( of which we had two a day, everyday! I mean $8!! ), a light breakfast and off we went to see what the rest of Kuta had to offer.

They had these magnificent Temples all over Bali.

Loved finding these random fruits every where.. when in Bali.. you gotta try the food right! These things, were not my fav..

I love experiencing the culture of people around the world and for me, Kuta had such a vibrant energy to the island. Constant going 24/7, party life, restaurants, beach, art, tattooing, shopping, there was always something to see!

That night we had a fantastic dinner at this cute little restaurant across from the beach and ended up having this really good seafood pasta! Once finished, we walked along the beach listening to the waves and expressing our gratitude for being in this place with each other as well as talked about hopes and dreams for our future. It was such a great way to start off our honeymoon!

Once we noticed the sun was going down, we decided to watch it by the pool at our hotel. Everyday after that, we woke to watch the sunrise and stopped where ever we were to watch the sunset. True Beauty.
